Established in 2015 at an altitude of 400 meters on land with a unique geological structure, Ayda Winery & Vineyards is the meeting point of craftsmanship, flavor, harmony, and friendship. Founded with the collective effort of close friends, the estate grows Sauvignon Blanc and Narince for white wines and Cabernet Sauvignon, Foça Karası, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Syrah for reds.
Visitors can explore the vineyard, taste the wines produced on-site, learn about the winemaking process, and enjoy a meal at the winery’s restaurant, where dishes are thoughtfully paired with wines.
Located near the village of Gödence in Seferihisar, the vineyards sit in a steep valley surrounded by high mountains. Planted in a north-south orientation, the vines are spaced 1.5m between rows and 1m between vines. The soil is acidic (pH ~6), composed of sandy, clayey, and rocky textures, with excellent water retention capabilities that allow deep root penetration, providing essential nutrients to the vines.
İzmir Seferihisar Gödence köyünün yakınlarında konumlanan Ayda Bağları, oldukça eğimli bir arazide yer almasının yanı sıra etrafı yüksek dağlarla çevrili bir vadinin ortasında bulunur. Bağlar kuzey güney doğrultusunda teraslar üzerinde sıra araları 1,5m ve fidan araları 1m olacak şekilde dikilmiştir. Toprak yapısı pH değeri ortalama 6 civarında asidik bir yapıda olup tekstürü ise kumlu, killi ve taşlı yapıdan oluşmaktadır. Kum taşı olarak da bilinen bu yapı içerisinde mineralleri bulundururken, yapısı dolayısıyla suyu tutma özelliğine sahiptir. Dolayısıyla bu toprak yapısı, köklerin onlarca metre derine gitmesine ve köklerin derinlerde yeterli besine ulaşabilmesine oldukça elverişlidir.
